Whiskey City is best known for their high energy performances that take concert goers to the next level. Born and raised in Berkshire County, some of these artists have been performing together since they were kids, to traveling the country as adults. Needless to say the onstage chemistry is a must see.
Starting in 2010 Randy Cormier had come off of a short hiatus with other bands and realized something was missing musically in the Berkshires where he grew up. There were no bands covering the country music genre. He put his idea into fruition and knew just who to call. So after enlisting drummer Frank Algerio, Bass Player Dale Zavatter, and guitarist Darren Todd. He set out to find a female vocalist to round out the sound. He stumbled upon Beth Maturevich in a karaoke bar, grabbed his best friend Abe Guthrie on keys and the rest is 12 year history
"We really at this point feel that the band is compelled to focus more on originals. We have so many covers under our belt and will continue to throw in some new fresh songs here and there. But our passion is developing our own songs that really challenge us to become better musicians. Randy writes and we help create the magic from there. It's a total vibe of our own and people seem to really be enjoying what we are doing" ~Beth co-lead vocalist
